Sonam Bhalla

Emory University/Children's Healthcare of Atlanta
Assistant Professor

I’m a pediatric neurologist and epileptologist, with a special interest in neonatal neurology and early-life epilepsies. I’m particularly passionate about caring for infants and young children with challenging epilepsy and helping families navigate diverse treatment options—including dietary therapies like the ketogenic diet and the evaluation for timely epilepsy surgery.

In addition to my clinical work, I’m deeply invested in education and mentorship. I have the privilege of serving as the Program Director for our Epilepsy Fellowship, where I enjoy working closely with residents and fellows as they grow in their training and develop their own paths in the field of epilepsy.
