Susan Melamed

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
Senior Clinical Program Director- Neurology & Neuroscience

I am a nurse practitioner in the Division of Neurology at CHOP, where I've been treating patients with epilepsy since 1990. My primary clinical focus is the management of patients with a deep brain stimulator (DBS) or vagus nerve stimulator (VNS). I am also the APP manager for neurology and have a leadership role in the Neuroscience Center. I'm a frequent lecturer to graduate nurse practitioner students on the diagnosis and management of seizures and epilepsy. I also have a special interest in APP billing and help to roll out billing models across the enterprise.
