We will reflect on your current experience and understanding of EoE and explore the challenges and opportunities in managing this condition.

Part 2 - Education

Module 1: Assessing Symptoms, Referrals, and Diagnostic Criteria and Guidelines

This educational module outlines symptom assessment, referrals, and EoE diagnostic criteria, enabling you to make informed decisions when caring for EoE patients.

Module 2: EoE Treatment Options and Efficacy Considerations

This educational module reviews treatment modalities and guidelines, as well as treatment selection indications and criteria, to increase your awareness and understanding of optimal EoE management.

Patient Case 1: Edgar, a 32-year-old male with refractory EoE

Explore with your group members a patient case where current treatment approaches are not working and interdisciplinary collaboration plays a role in shaping potential treatment options.

Patient Case 2: A 75-year-old patient with recurring dysphagia and esophageal strictures

Here we look at an elderly patient with EoE who has limited access to care and lacks social support.

Let's consider personal, practice, and system-based changes you can implement to improve diagnosis and management for your patients with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE).
