Hiva Pourarsalan

Aetna
Director of Pharmacy

Welcome to our group learning team! I graduated pharmacy school in 2015 and started my career in managed care pharmacy in the health plan and PBM settings. I've had the opportunity to experience various roles in formulary management, account management, and health plan operations and management in various lines of business including Medicare and Medicaid. I have additional interest in quality management and value based contracting as well as evaluating real world evidence as it relates to clinical pharmacy. I currently serve as the education chair for California AMCP and hope to assist in educating practicing providers and pharmacists as well as future healthcare providers in various areas of managed care.
