I completed undergraduate education at Boston College with BS in Biology then went on to graduate medical school at Viginia Commonwealth University School of medicine. I completed residency in Neurology at Mayo Clinic Florida and completed fellowship in neuromuscular disease at Duke University. I have been at University of South Florida for 10’years. I am the elected Chief of Neurology at Tampa General Hospital and have been for the past 5 years. I am the founder and Division Director of our General neurology neurohospitalist division. I also serve as the Associate Program Director for the Adult Neurology Residency Program. I am the 4th year medical student Neurology track director along with director of Neurology electives and AI. I have interest in medical education and work to create novel educational curriculum for our 4th year neurology track students and serve as director and creator of the Neurology Entrustable Professional Activities. Specific educational interests include transitional education from UME to GME. In the clinics I focus on advanced electrodiagnostics with special interests in traumatic nerve injury including plexopathies, as well as NMJ disorders and SFEMG.
